Recall petition for Gov. Snyder gets approved

A recall petition for Gov. Rick Snyder has been approved.
The Michigan State Board of Canvassers approved the language for a recall petition of Snyder Monday.
That means organizers can now travel the state gathering signatures. If they collect more than 789,000, the issue could wind up on the ballot.
The petition seeks to remove Snyder from office, not because of the Flint water crisis but because of the creation of a state school reform office.
Nine other recall petitions were rejected.
