David Duke, perhaps America's most recognizable white supremacist, announced on Friday that he is running for a US Senate seat in Louisiana.
The former Grand Wizard of the Klu Kux Klan is no stranger to politics, having made several unsuccessful runs for Congress in the 1990s.
But one part of his announcement will likely stand out to people.
"I'm overjoyed to see Donald Trump, and most Americans, embraced most of the issues that I've championed for years," Duke says in a video declaring his candidacy.
