O'Donnell Fields 'Magical Powers' Query
O'Donnell Fields 'Magical Powers' Query
Obama, Biden To Visit Delaware; Palin Coming, Too

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. - Questions about those "witchcraft" comments Christine O'Donnell made on television years ago just don't seem to be going away.
The Republican U.S. Senate candidate was in New Castle County yesterday vowing to work to protect every Delawarean's Second Amendment right to carry a gun.
And in the question and answer portion of the event one reporter asked what she would do in Washington if she had magical powers.
"I won't have magical powers, but I'll have enumerated powers in the Constitution. And one of the things that I would change is returning back to them," O'Donnell said.
O'Donnell will soon be getting some high-profile help in her race against Democrat Chris Coons.
Former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin says she will make an appearance in the First State to rally support for O'Donnell.
Coons will also get a boost from national figures when President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden come to Delaware next week. They'll attend a fundraiser for Coons at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington.
The White House duo will also be in our area this weekend when they host a rally in Germantown to get voters in Pennsylvania excited about the mid-term elections.
Other candidates from Pennsylvania expected to join them include Senate hopeful Congressman Joe Sestak and Democratic gubernatorial nominee Dan Onorato.
Midterm elections will be held Nov. 2.
