Tea Party Favorite Michele Bachmann Visits Mexico & Colombia, Was it Wow or More DUH?

Minnesota Republican U.S. Rep. and Tea Party leader, Michele Bachmann appears to be trying to enhance her “I want to be a President” resume by executing a foreign policy trip to Mexico and Colombia.
Bachmann, who is rumored to be considering a run for President in 2012, is a member of the House Intelligence Committee.  She is often criticized for her lack of knowledge on foreign affairs, well actually she is criticized for her lack of knowledge on many things.
Bachman has been bashed for calling the Obamas “anti-American” to stating that “not all cultures are equal” and for playing lose and fast with facts.  What did she actually learn about Mexico and Colombia is unknown or whether she will retain any of it.
We hope she didn’t offer these Latin American allies lessons on our Constitution like she does to house members since she doesn’t know when slavery ended.
This was the first trip of the Intelligence Committee, where four other members beside Bachmann participated in.  While in Colombia the group met with President Juan Manuel Santos to discuss the Colombia Free Trade Agreement.  In Mexico the group was updated on the drug cartel problem and general security issues between the countries.
