Michele Bachmann Stars In Anti-Socialism Documentary From Church That Blames Darwin For Holocaust

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is breaking into the movie business with a starring role in a new documentary that explores the dangers of socialism.

The flick, titled "Socialism: A Clear and Present Danger," is promoted as offering a glimpse into "the real-world results of Marx and his many followers - and why their failed ideas violate God's Word."

Bachmann is identified on the film's website as an anti-socialism expert, and the documentary features footage of Stalin, Castro, Mao, and Chavez woven together with clips of President Obama. According to Bachmann, if the country continues along its current course, "it could mean the sinking of our civilization."

Oh my. Education is a powerful tool to dispel Madame's belief in the peculiar institution.

F*ck Michele Bachman Flyers Hit Twin Cities

F*ck Michele Bachman Flyers Hit Twin Cities

The flyers also contain what's meant to represent blood splatter. All in the name of good music, I suppose.
Posters spotted around the Twin Cites with a four-letter vulgarity followed by a Minnesota Congresswoman's name have some asking who's responsible. It turns out, the posters are promoting an upcoming hip-hop concert.
From the idiot's MySpace page. MySpace? What a douchebag. Asterisks added.
G-Biz has recorded our classic club banger, F*ck Michele Bachmann, version 2010, with our all-star guests. It has become something far more epic and ethereal than we had hoped to achieve.
Michelle Bachmann is an embarrassment to us all. So now, you the people, get you chance to express your discontent for our crazy congresswoman with the G-Biz. We need you to make a remix of the F*ck Michele Bachmann 2010 summer hit. We have made the raw tracks available for remixing. We Got a high quality version, for you audiophiles, and low quality if you don't want to wait for the download. So drop us a line, gbiz.187@gmail.com, and we will send you the link to the tracks, please specify what version you want.
It was discussed on Hannity's show - audio below. Michele Bachman's site here.
Hannity: "I'm even sorry that I have to bring this up, but um, there is apparently a concert. I don't know if you've had a chance to see this. I don't even know how to say this. They're using your name as a headline, the "F" word and 2010. Have you heard about this?"
Bachmann: "I have, I have. It was just brought to my attention yesterday. And um, this is part of a pattern. I know you've reported on this before, there's a Playboy article. They had highlighted various conservative women and talked about the very lewd, derogatory, hateful, violent things that they wanted to do toward those women. I was one of those women. And this is aconcert series, as you said, where they're using this degrading terminology. Also in Minneapolis there's a comic book series that was written showing me in a similar light.

Bachmann Backs BP

Now Bachmann has joined the ranks of Joe Barton in her attempt to bash Obama on the 20 billion dollar relief fund, its not a slush fund Michelle-its for the millions of people who lost their incomes and businesses. The BP Oil leak has lost income for millions of people but she really doesn’t mind it because it’s not her state and all she wants is to get elected. It’s all about the loss of capital, in this capitalist society that Bachmann promotes for her Republican Party.

Bill O’Reilly Challenges Rep. Michele Bachmann On Her Claim $20B BP Account Is ‘Extortion’

Rep. Joe Barton wasn’t the only member of Congress uncomfortable with the government agreeing with BP to put $20 billion into an escrow fund for claims of the victims of the BP oil disaster. Congresswoman Michele Bachmann expressed some concern with the account also, calling for BP not to be the government’s “chumps” and warning about federal overreach. She visited Bill O’Reilly last night, who did not sympathize with Bachmann or BP in the least...more

Michele Bachmann's Husband To Supporters: Don't Let Them F*** Her

Michele Bachmann's husband, Marcus, issued an urgent appeal to supporters Friday: we cannot let the assaults on her virtue stand!

The Bachmanns are concerned about a concert in Minneapolis entitled "F*** Michele Bachmann," which they apparently think is a reference to the organizers' desire to engage in coitus with Mrs. Bachmann rather than a desire to see her out of office. To help them get over the pain and despair, they would like their supporters to send them money...more

It takes a woman!… Meanwhile Pence, Cantor, and Boehner run for the hills…

Let's see where the money goes!

[The Hill] — Lawmakers’ concerns that a $20 billion relief fund could be used for the Obama administration’s political purposes are legitimate concerns, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) said Friday.

A day after a top Republican, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), apologized to the CEO of BP for the government’s efforts to force the company to create a fund to pay out claims to victims of the Gulf oil spil, Bachmann defended worries that the account could turn into — in Barton’s words — a “slush fund.”

“I think that part of the concern that many members of Congress had are that the $20 billion fund not become political, because we have very recent evidence that it could be. We have another oil spill fund that the Democrats just a few weeks ago tried to tap to use to pay unemployment benefits,” Bachmann said during an appearance on Fox News. “So it’s certainly reasonable and legitimate for members of Congress to be concerned that an oil spill fund goes specifically, 100 percent to make the victims of this environmental tragedy whole.”

Bachmann said that Barton’s remarks were only on his own behalf and that she thought that his subsequent apologies for his original remarks made clear that BP was responsible for the spill and making its victims whole.

PA-Gov: Republicans nominate Big Brother

PA-Gov: Republicans nominate Big Brother
by Jed Lewison

Wed May 19, 2010 at 03:00:05 PM PDT

I'm sure the teabaggers will find a way to rationalize this noteworthy fact about the Pennsylvania Republican Party's newly-chosen nominee for governor (via Ben Smith):

Attorney General Tom Corbett Subpoenaes Twitter To Identify Anonymous Critics

Tom Corbett, current Attorney General of the state of Pennsylvania and Gubernatorial Candidate, has subpoenaed Twitter to appear as a Grand Jury witness to “testify and give evidence regarding alleged violations of the laws of Pennsylvania”.

The subpoena orders Twitter to provide “any and all subscriber information” of the person(s) behind two accounts – @bfbarbie and @CasaBlancaPA – who have been anonymously criticizing the man on the popular micro-sharing service.

According to the subpoena (embedded below), the information that Twitter is ordered to provide includes “name, address, contact information, creation date, creation Internet Protocol address and any and all log in Internet Protocol address”.

Corbett's office hasn't yet responded to inquires from TechCrunch or Smith to explain why on earth he'd subpoena Twitter to unearth the identity of his anonymous critics. Corbett will face Democratic nominee Dan Onorato, the chief executive of Allegheny County.

Glenn Beck Attacks President's Daughter -- Days After Insisting That Families Of Public Figures Should Not Be Attacked

Glenn Beck Attacks President's Daughter -- Days After Insisting That Families Of Public Figures Should Not Be Attacked

So, call me crazy, but I'm beginning to think that Fox News infotainer Glenn Beck's principles lack some internal moral consistency.

See, a couple of days ago, Beck interviewed sometime-Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, and he took what appeared to be a principled stand on the matter of how people should treat the families of public figures. Speaking with Palin, Beck decried the tactic: "Leave my family, leave people's families alone...When it was Bill Clinton, you don't go after Chelsea Clinton. You don't talk about the Bush kids. Now, the minute they get into politics, that's a different story. You leave the families alone."

Now, Beck's stand here was rooted in the belief that Sarah Palin's new neighbor, journalist Joe McGinnis, moved in next door to her with the intention of being a danger to Palin's children. That is, as they say, some horsedung. Nevertheless, I can definitely get on board with the whole "leave the families alone" idea. Glenn Beck has had a long time to reflect upon that time he mocked a woman's miscarriage because her husband committed the terrible crime of being the host of a rival morning show in the same market as Beck. Maybe he felt bad about that! But whatever the reason, decrying the practice of criticizing the families of public figures is, at the root, very laudable.

Here's the thing, though: Beck was only able to abide by those principles for a few hours. On this morning's broadcast of his radio show, he chucked all of that out the window and went on an extended jag of mocking Malia Obama, who had the temerity to get herself caught up in the news cycle:

UPDATE: Glenn Beck has issued a statement, addressing the matter described below:

In discussing how President Obama uses children to shield himself from criticism, I broke my own rule about leaving kids out of political debates. The children of public figures should be left on the sidelines. It was a stupid mistake and I apologize--and as a dad I should have known better.

I think that was the right thing to do under the circumstances.

LISTEN:

Gah, here is some of the transcript of this thing:

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy? Daddy? Daddy, did you plug the hole yet? Daddy?

PAT GRAY (co-host): (imitating Obama) No I didn't, honey.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy, I know you're better than [unintelligible]

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Mm-hmm, big country.

BECK: (imitating Malia) And I was wondering if you've plugged that hole yet.

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Honey, not yet.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Why not, daddy? But daddy--

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Not time yet, honey. Hasn't done enough damage.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Not enough damage yet, honey.

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Yeah?

BECK: (imitating Malia) Why do you hate black people so much?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) I'm part white, honey.

BECK: (imitating Malia) What?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) What?

BECK: (imitating Malia) What'd you say?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Excuse me?

BECK: (laughing) This is such a ridiculous -- this is such a ridiculous thing that his daughter-- (imitating Malia) Daddy?

GRAY: It's so stupid.

BECK: How old is his daughter? Like, thirteen?

GRAY: Well, one of them's, I think, thirteen, one's eleven, or something.

BECK: "Did you plug the hole yet, daddy?" Is that's their -- that's the level of their education, that they're coming to -- they're coming to daddy and saying 'Daddy, did you plug the hole yet?' " Plug the hole!

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Yes, I was doing some deep-sea diving yesterday, and--

BECK: (imitating Malia) Daddy?

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Yeah, mm-hmm, mm-hmm, I was doing--

BECK: (imitating Malia) Why--

GRAY: (imitating Obama) Yeah, honey, I'm--

BECK (imitating Malia) Why, why, why, why, do you still let the polar bears die? Daddy, why do you still let Sarah Palin destroy the environment? Why are -- Daddy, why don't you just put her in some sort of a camp?

And on and on it goes like that.

So, to revise the central tenets of Beck's "leave the families alone" credo, people should only criticize the children of public figures of people whom Glenn Beck doesn't like, including the ones who are stillborn.
