A self-styled outsider conservative is preparing to challenge Reince Priebus for the leadership of the Republican National Committee if Donald Trump loses next week's election.
Preibus has worked hard to lock down enough support to handily win if he chooses to run for reelection, but he’s not going to go unchallenged.
Ned Ryun, a career GOP operative who is the son of former five-term Republican Congressman Jim Ryun, intends to run for head of the RNC if Trump loses and Priebus seeks reelection, two sources familiar with Ned Ryun’s planning tell POLITICO.Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/reince-priebus-rnc-chair-230594#ixzz4OnsLnHvU

Republicans Threaten Lawsuits Over TV Ads Linking Them To Donald Trump
WASHINGTON ― Some Republicans are running so far away from their party’s nominee that they are threatening to sue TV stations for running ads that suggest they support Donald Trump.
Just two weeks before Election Day, five Republicans ― Reps. Bob Dold (R-Ill.), Mike Coffman (R-Colo.), David Jolly (R-Fla.), John Katko (R-N.Y.) and Brian Fitzpatrick, a Pennsylvania Republican running for an open seat that’s currently occupied by his brother ― contend that certain commercials paid for by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee provide false or misleading information by connecting them to the GOP nominee.
Trump is so terrible, these Republicans are essentially arguing, that tying them to him amounts to defamation.
All five Republicans have, at some point, said they don’t support Trump. And all five have a bit of a case: The DCCC ads do use some creativity to tie them to Trump.

The RNC Has Reportedly Closed The Door On Donald Trump, And Withdrawn Funding
The Wall Street Journal reports that the devastated RNC has allegedly now taken its money out of the Trump campaign, and will now be using it for other candidates down ballot.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus on Saturday told party officials to redirect funds away from nominee Donald Trump to down-ballot candidates, according to an official informed of the decision. In practical terms, the party will be working to mobilize voters who support GOP House and Senate candidates regardless of their position on the presidential race. That means the RNC will push Floridians who support both Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican Sen. Marco Rubio to vote. Before today, the RNC wouldn’t have sought to turn out Clinton voters, leaving split-ticket voters for Senate campaigns to target.

Two Men Arrested for Allegedly Hacking Senior U.S. Government Officials
If you use TOR, all you have to do is change a proxy setting and it looks like it came from Russia. The plot thickens...
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Andrew Otto Boggs, aka “INCURSIO,” 22, of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and Justin Gray Liverman, aka “D3F4ULT,” 24, of Morehead City, North Carolina, were arrested today on charges related to their alleged roles in the computer hacking of several senior U.S. government officials and U.S. government computer systems.
According to charging documents filed with the court, Boggs and Liverman conspired with members of a hacking group that called itself “Crackas With Attitude.” From about October 2015 to February 2016, the group used “social engineering” hacking techniques, including victim impersonation, to gain unlawful access to the personal online accounts of senior U.S. government officials, their families, and several U.S. government computer systems. In some instances, members of the conspiracy uploaded private information that they obtained from victims’ personal accounts to public websites; made harassing phone calls to victims and their family members; and defaced victims’ social media accounts. At least three other members of the conspiracy are located in the United Kingdom and are being investigated by the Crown Prosecution Service.
Boggs and Liverman will have their initial appearances at the federal courthouse in Alexandria next week in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Theresa Carroll Buchanan.
Dana J. Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia; Paul M. Abbate, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office; and Brian J. Ebert, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Secret Service’s Washington Field Office, made the announcement after Boggs and Liverman were arrested.
Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph V. Longobardo and Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jay V. Prabhu and Maya D. Song are prosecuting the case on behalf of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. The U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the FBI’s Charlotte Division provided significant assistance with the investigation.
A copy of this press release may be found on the website of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. Related court documents and information may be found on the website of the District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia or on PACER by searching for Case No. 1:16-mj-406.

Trump Disobeys Louisiana Governor to Bravely Deliver Play-Doh to Flood Victims (VIDEO)
Another classic Trump Troll.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump defied the wishes of Louisiana Governor Edwards today to briefly participate in unloading Play-Doh off of a supply truck while being surrounded by media.
Governor Edwards, currently responding to some of the worst floods in his state since Hurricane Katrina, had previously said of Trump in a statement that “We welcome him to Louisiana but not for a photo-op. Instead we hope he’ll consider volunteering or making a sizable donation to the LA Flood Relief Fund to help the victims of the storm.”

Russians Suspected of Hacking Democrats Also Went After Republicans, Researchers Say
Cybersecurity experts have linked one of the groups that stole emails from the DNC to a campaign against lawmakers and officials, including John McCain.
For weeks, Democratic politicians have been bracing for the release of more embarrassing emails that U.S. officials believe were stolen by Russian hackers and then handed over to WikiLeaks.
But Republicans have reason to worry, too. Computer security researchers are linking one of the Russian groups that stole emails from the Democratic National Committee to a campaign that hacked the staff of at least three GOP lawmakers, as well as state-level party officials across the country.
Back in June, a little noticed website called DCLeaks published the emails of various political and military figures. Most public attention focused on emails written by retired Gen. Philip Breedlove, formerly the supreme allied commander of NATO.

Dozens of Republicans to urge RNC to cut off funds for Trump
More than 70 Republicans have signed an open letter to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus urging him to stop spending any money to help Donald Trump win in November and shift those contributions to Senate and House races.
The letter comes as a number of Republican senators and high-profile GOP national security officials have come forward saying they cannot vote for Trump.

GOP Platform Proposes To Get Rid Of National Parks And National Forests
The Republican platform committee met this week to draft the document that defines the party’s official principles and policies. Along with provisions on pornography and LGBT “conversion therapy” is an amendment calling for the indiscriminate and immediate disposal of national public lands.
The inclusion of this provision in the Republican Party’s platform reflects the growing influence of and ideological alliance between several anti-park members of the GOP and anti-government extremists, led by Cliven Bundy, who dispute the federal government’s authority over national public lands.
“Congress shall immediately pass universal legislation providing a timely and orderly mechanism requiring the federal government to convey certain federally controlled public lands to the states,” reads the adopted language. “We call upon all national and state leaders and representatives to exert their utmost power and influence to urge the transfer of those lands identified.”
The provision calls for an immediate full-scale disposal of “certain” public lands, without defining which lands it would apply to , leaving national parks, wilderness areas, wildlife refuges, and national forests apparently up for grabs and vulnerable to development, privatization, or transfer to state ownership.

GOP bigwig flees the party – and leaves ‘misogynist bigot’ Trump a devastating letter on her way out
A longtime Jeb Bush adviser has served notice to the GOP that she is no longer a member due the rise of Donald Trump as the face of the Republican Party.
In a scathing letter read on CNN, Sally Bradshaw, who co-authored an RNC report showing what went wrong in the 2012 election said she would hold her nose and vote for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton if the election is close, stating, “This election cycle is a test.”
“As much as I don’t want another four years of Obama’s policies, I can’t look my children in the eye and tell them I voted for Donald Trump,” she wrote. “I can’t tell them to love their neighbor and treat others the way they wanted to be treated, and then vote for Donald Trump. I won’t do it.”
“But we are at a crossroads and have nominated a total narcissist — a misogynist — a bigot. This is a time when country has to take priority over political parties. Donald Trump cannot be elected president,” she wrote, noting his attack on the family of a war hero was the last straw. “Donald Trump belittled a woman who gave birth to a son who died fighting for the United States. If anything, that reinforced my decision to become an independent voter.”

Donna Brazile Out, Marcia Fudge In. Third DNC Chair In 8 Hours
Remember, I am only the messenger.
Poor baby.
Contrary to public ignorance, this entire presidential race is about child welfare, or rather the final leg of implementing the privatization scheme to access the Social Security Trust Fund.
James Comey, FBI director is more than likely not a happy camper right now.
Since the public has taken an interest into the DNC convention, here are the latest updates:
The FBI is now investigating the so-called "Russian hacking" of the DNC.
If the Russians can hack the DNC, logic would present itself that it hacked into other, "unsecured, non-encrypted" servers or even the RNC?
(FYI: Rumor in the cyberverse has it, the hack was in-house.)
And now, the plot thickens. Marcia Fudge was. according to her own words, hand picked by the Clinton campaign weeks ago.

You can’t make this stuff up. The Democratic National Convention has now announced its 3rd chairperson in the last 8 hours. According to Wikileaks.org and confirmed by CNN:
US DNC head is now Marcia Fudge who has replaced Donna Brazil for the duration of the Convention #DNCLeak— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) July 25, 2016
Earlier today, Debbie Wasserman Shultz was outed as the DNC Chairwoman on the eve of the convention after a weekend that saw her entire office and staff exposed in an embarrassing email dump of the Democratic National Committee, exposing a concerted effort to fraudulently hand the nomination to Hillary Clinton by conspiring to derail any hopes of Bernie Sanders securing the nomination. This lead to Debbie Wasserman Shultz immediately being hired as a chair of the Clinton Campaign.
Shortly after the Wasserman Shultz resignation, CNN released Donna Brazile from her CNN contract so she could fulfill the duties as the DNC Chairperson on an interim basis for the convention in Philadelphia. She was expected to be interim Chairperson until after the elections in November. This lasted about 30 minutes, then all hell broke loose as numerous websites, this one included, published scathing articles showing that Brazile was as deeply involved in the fraudulent activities as Wasserman Shultz was. You can read the Brazile emails here. She called Bernie Sanders “stupid” and threatened to “cuss out his staff”.
Well, Bernie apparently still has some power left and apparently now has used it to force Brazile out and the Democrats have now named a 3rd chairperson.
Marcia Fudge has now been named as the new interim chair.

Rolling Stones to Donald Trump: You Can't Always Get What You Want—stay away from our music
This morning The Rolling Stones tweeted out a condemning message to Republican presidential Nominee Donald Trump. It came in less than 24 hours after Trump gave his acceptance speech for the official Republican nomination at the RNC, where “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” was played after Donald Trump’s speech.

George Harrison estate offended that RNC used his music
Donald Trump and the Republican National Convention have incurred the wrath of yet another musician.
The George Harrison estate blasted the use of his hit "Here Comes the Sun" Thursday night as Ivanka Trump took the stage.
"The unauthorized use of #HereComestheSun at the #RNCinCLE is offensive & against the wishes of the George Harrison estate," the estate tweeted late Thursday, as the RNC wrapped up in Cleveland.
The estate followed up with another tweet suggesting a more pessimistic song from Harrison's post-Beatles repertoire: "If it had been Beware of Darkness, then we MAY have approved it! #TrumpYourself.
