New Details in Child Porn Charges Against Former Sherwood Pastor

SHERWOOD, Ark. - On Wednesday, the Sherwood Police Department released more details on how a former pastor was caught on child pornography charges after months of investigation.

"I think it's shocking and scary," says Charlotte Weber, who lives in Sherwood.

The Sherwood community was stunned to hear the news.

"Hard to trust your kids out of your sight. It's not like what it was when I was raising my kids," Weber adds.

40-year-old David Reynolds was arrested Tuesday on 70 counts. He is a former pastor at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship Church.

"Back in December the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children received information regarding child pornography," explains Sgt. Keith Wilson with Sherwood Police.

Court documents state social media accounts found several user names viewing explicit information back in December 2015.

These names were all traced back to Reynolds through an IP address:

"Ethanluvsts"

"Luvsomecandy"

The United States Revokes Scientology’s Tax-Exempt Status

In a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court today, the eight justices ruled in favor of revoking the Church of Scientology’s tax-exempt status in the United States. Under the ruling, Scientology will still be able to operate as a business but no longer as a non-profit religious organization.
